TARGO-VENT is an opening angle limiter developed especially for vent panels, which guides the pressure relief specifically into areas, in which there is no danger for the adjoining infrastructure. It dynamically and progressively cushions the vent panel situated beneath it, and can therefore also assimilate large kinetic forces resiliently. The damper absorbs the enormous repulsive forces of the explosion energy and guides the flames and shock wave in the desired direction. Depending on what’s required the flames and shock wave are diverted at a defined angle of approx. 30° to approx. 45° upwards or to the side. Facility operators can therefore minimise the safety areas around the vent opening. The utilisable area is increased. A further advantage of TARGO-VENT: the top module is made in all the usual vent panel sizes, so that retrofitting in existing units can be undertaken without a problem. Filter units of this series are generally suitable for all needs, where a dust/air mixture continuously arises over a long period of time, e. g. for de-dusting of mechanical transport and manufacturing processes. Motivated by the strong market resonance, Infastaub has extended the filter series by a new design. All parts in contact with the product and also the clean gas side can be manufactured in stainless steel. This qualifies the filter units in particular for the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industry. The filter elements are food safe according to EG 1935/2004 and EG 10/2011. Zinc was being recovered from residual materials, called waste at the time, long before the term recycling came into use. Back at the end of the 19th century, a relatively simple technique was discovered for enriching zinc from ore in a rotary kiln. The method currently known as the Waelz process has been in use for about 50 years to recover zinc from residuals such as steel plant dust. The dust has to be processed with a carbon source to produce a stable granulate, and EIRICH granulating mixers are used worldwide for that purpose. One system for a large producer of high-grade zinc and zinc alloy in Russia is ready for delivery, and engineering work for a second system was completed at the end of 2014. Worldwide zinc consumption currently exceeds 10 million tonnes. Roughly half of that goes to galvanization of iron and steel products to stop corrosion. Precise and maintenance free solid flow meter The house brewery „Zum Schlüssel“ is a well know restaurant and „Altbier“ brewery in Düsseldorf. The traditional house on the „Bolkerstraße“ produces „Schlüssel“- Altbier since 1850. The beer is brewed according to the old top-fermented brewing way. The malt was dosed with a 40 years old mechanical „tipping scale“. Due to the long term mechanical operation the scale failed and needed to be replaced. The brewmaster was now searching for a replacement system with compact dimensions (to fit into the actual space) and best possible accuracy. Solution: The brewmaster came to the decision to use a Hense „Baby FlowSlide“ - system. The „Baby FlowSlide“ is maintenance free, robust and compact. Due to the heigth of only 400 mm it was possible, to fit the system exactly under the existing feeder.
