OCS Checkweighers is devoting its exhibit at ACHEMA 2015 to Track & Trace. In Frankfurt, the specialist for dynamic weighing and inspection systems presents its convincing high-tech answer to the mandated serialisation requirement: the ”Traceable Quality System” (TQS). OCS shows a complete line with serialisation and continuous aggregation in a minimum of space.
OCS - Integrated solutions with just one software interface
TQS is winning over the industry because of its consistent, integrated operation. The system enables the serialization (only 1,800 mm space needed) and complete aggregation of medicines. Protection from counterfeiting requires a controllable and unrestricted product flow from producer to retailer right to the consumer. TQS is the clever solution that stands for easy operation and continuous aggregation. The special feature: The whole TQS system can be controlled directly from one, convenient software interface. The operator appreciates the convenient handling because the usual switching between various surfaces is no longer required.
Whether for serialisation, labeling, completeness checks of the individual packages (via weight determination), or the implementation of the various levels of aggregation (bundling as well as final packaging): With TQS, OCS Checkweighers sets the standard for a reliable yet surprisingly simple compliance with the mandated serialisation, against the backdrop of best available consumer protection (e. g. by Tamper-Evident or Bollini).
Dynamic checkweighers designed especially for the pharmaceutical industry
Additionally, at the Frankfurt trade fair, OCS Checkweighers is presenting dynamic checkweighers that are specially developed and manufactured for drug producers. Included is the HC-A-IS series for weighing cylindrical and imbalanced products using the sophisticated rotating star system, which enables short setup times and high throughput rates of up to 160 measurements per minute (wpm).
The dynamic checkweighers of the HC-A-MI series allow high precision weighing in the milligram range for very small items (stick packs, blister packs, etc.). The 100% automated inline controls allows throughputs of up to 200 pieces per lane and minute with individual product feed. Up to 12 lanes can be built. Another dynamic checkweigher exhibited by OCS at Achema features full stainless steel construction. The HC-M-VA series is designed for protection class IP65 and represents the best attainable cleaning (e. g. by splashing of liquids), which is why pharmaceutical suppliers preferred it for their reliable operations.
In case external disturbances are a factor, the high-tech products from OCS Checkweighers (as a part of the Wipotec Group) can be outfitted with Active Vibration Compensation (AVC). The design and assembly of all machines is performed under one roof at OCS. An exceptional production depth guarantees the highest level of flexibility.
