Online training for the bulk solids handling industry
Learn how to solve and/or avoid problematic handling issues
Join the experts at the Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology by registering for the online courses, to discuss the various bulk materials handling issues encountered.
In January we start with a look at the different methods of measuring the properties of powders; the different techniques available will be described and situations given to where it would be most useful. Some of the techniques include Particle size measurement techniques, Particle Density (solid and bulk) and Flow property measurements.
This is followed up in February with courses concentrating on specific aspects of flowability and discharge covered briefly in the above course, namely Caking and Lump Formation in powders and processes and then on to the Segregation of powders and particulates.
Each of these courses offers an additional opportunity to take part in a hands-on practical demonstration session in mid February at the Wolfson Centre laboratories in Chatham, Kent UK to put the theory discussed into practice.
