Trade fair review – Powtech 2023
Three Days Filled with ultra-light Highlights
Powtech 2023 has come to a close. Greif-Velox looks back on three successful days that the team had the pleasure of experiencing at the international trade fair for powder and bulk material technology, which took place from September 26th to 28th in Nuremberg. Booth 1-253 in Hall 1 served as a central hub for visitors, customers, and prospects. With a wide range of products and solutions, from Greif-Velox VeloVac to the sack innovation ”SafeDyVac” (in collaboration with dy-pack), and the Brutto-Pneumatic Packer (BVP), the Greif-Velox experts were available to visitors throughout the entire exhibition to answer questions and discuss tailored solutions for their specific needs.
Efficient Bagging of Ultralight Powders and 3D Animations
The Greif-Velox VeloVac and the latest addition to the sack line, SafeDyVac, were exhibition highlights for anyone looking to bag ultralight powders such as Carbon Black or Silica cleanly, safely, and dust-free. In addition, visitors had the opportunity to watch product videos on a large screen, showcasing the operation of VeloVac XL, Brutto-Pneumatic Packer (BVP) and the automatic liquid filling systems, A-Dos-P1 and A-Dos-C. Thanks to interactive 3D animations on iPads, interested parties could explore the functions of Greif-Velox’ systems from various perspectives. Furthermore, the meeting room provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss industry-specific challenges, and gain insights into current trends and developments. Through numerous discussions, the Greif-Velox team gained valuable insights into the needs and expectations of customers.
Culinary Highlights
In addition to technical innovations, there were two culinary highlights at Powtech 2023: Visitors were enticed to the booth with freshly baked waffles in the shape of the Greif-Velox logo. Furthermore, there was a social get-together at a Nuremberg tavern featuring authentic Franconian cuisine and freshly tapped beer on Wednesday evening. Thus, the exhibition was an all-around success.
