Bag handling machine on high capacity for milk powder MATAM has developed their filling line for 500 bags per hour to a capacity of 550 bags per hour. A goal of 600 bags per hour is possible (13.500 till 15.00 kg per hour). The line is an in-line under level filler. We fill the bag bottoms up on gross dosing to ensure an minimum of dust while filling. By adjustments in the different dosing points we are able to realize a process acceleration of almost one second per bag. This guarantees an output of 550 bags per hour. The Matam non 550-3 filling line can be provided under gas flushing and equipped with every type of bag closure. And of course working in accordance with client specific requirements is our starting point.

Container Stripper Copal Development Copal Development has developed a so-called Spidergripper for the unloading sisal bags, polypropylene + polyethylene bags and jute bags & bales (non woven) filled with for instance cacao, coffee, nuts or tea. With this gripper, which can be easily connected to a Copal C2 Container Stripper, it is now possible to unload jute bags automatically. Not only does this mean a saving on time and costs, but also the heavy physical effort of employees becomes history. The jute bags are taken out of a container by a unique fully automatic mechanism and placed on an extendible conveyor belt. The bags are transported by the conveyor belt and then fully automatically palletized for further transportation or storage. Loading and unloading containers normally costs a lot of time and manpower and therefore a lot of money too.
